Rare Genes day occurs every year on the last day of February to acknowledge everyone who is challenged with a rare gene, whether it be yourself, caregivers or family members. You can take the opportunity to show support and help raise awareness for anyone dealing with rare disease on a daily basis. You can do this by wearing blue jeans on February 28, 2018.

I believe we can take this awareness and support one step further if you are willing... Are you part of an office, work environment, team or any group of people? Encourage your friends/coworkers to wear blue jeans on February 28, 2018 and make a small donation to our Fun Run. No donation is too small. All money goes to Teddy Bears Anonymous to buy teddy bears for sick kids in Saskatchewan. If each person donated $1.00, those loonies add up. It only take 4 loonies to buy one teddy bear for sick kids! So please, take the opportunity to raise awareness, show support and help buy teddy bears by organizing a casual blue jean day on February 28, 2018.

If you choose to do so, post a picture on the Facebook event page or on "Carlin & Friends 2nd Annual Fun Run for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia" to get your name entered into a draw to be made at the Fun Run on June 24, 2018.
